More than 500 local producers from 11 regions that are already on the platform will now be able to sell online directly
Productosdeaqui.com was born in April to offer small producers a solution after the closure of the hotel industry and markets due to the health emergency. The good reception of the initiative led more than 500 local producers from 11 autonomous communities to join the platform so that buyers and distributors could geolocate them by proximity and easily contact them.
After this first phase, Productos de Aqui takes a new step with an additional marketplace service to promote marketing and online sales. The objective is to create the first benchmark agri-food ‘glocalmarket’ in Spain made up of local producers who meet criteria of proximity, quality, sustainability and support for the rural environment.
To do this, it has created an easy and intuitive technological tool so that all producers who register at market.productosdeaqui.com can upload and manage their products, present their best offers and start selling online without limits.
This makes it easier for potential customers, both consumers and distributors, to acquire each and every one of the producers that make up this digital market through a single and grouped purchase. “We want to promote the distribution and direct sale of differential, sustainable, fair and healthy products,” say the promoters of the project, Gapmedia and Lluis Nel Estrada.
Orders and shipments
Orders will be managed by Productos de Aqui, which will notify the producer of each order. Shipments will be made by the producers themselves through their usual logistics providers. The commission established for sale in the glocalmarket will be 10 percent per customer and will be allocated to management and promotion expenses in social networks and digital advertising.
Local agri-food products are organized into 10 categories: beverages; eggs and dairy cheeses; legumes, vegetables and fruit; meat and sausages; honey and pastries; flours and breads; oils, salt and supplements; ready meals; fish and seafood and organic and gluten-free food.
